Assaf Shoshan was born in Jerusalem in 1973. Based in
Paris since 2000, he has been working as a freelance
photographer for magazines while pursuing his art. Assaf
Shoshan studied fine art and photography at the Bezalel
Academy of art and Design in Jerusalem after obtaining a
BA in philosophy from the Hebrew University of
Jerusalem. His art work has been shown in several
galleries and museums around Europe, among
them MuCEM (Marseille) , musée d'art sacré (Evry), Cité
Internationale des Arts (Paris), CSP (Tel-Aviv), Galerie
Polaris (Paris), Galerie Im Kornerpark (Berlin). Works of
Shoshan can be found in several private and public
collections in Europe, including Fond National d’Art
Contemporain, France and Musée français de la
photographie.
